Depending on the business model, a company's T&C (aka Terms of Service, User Terms, or whatever they choose to call them) may be the only agreement that governs the company's relationship with their customers.
As such, it's generally a good idea to spend time explaining the business to a lawyer that understands these types of documents so they can craft a T&C that: (1) accurately describes the services being provided, and the rights and responsibilities of both the customer and the company; and, (2) provides the company well-tailored legal protection.
